Badam milk using MTR badam powder
Mango milk shake using mango pulp
- Add 1 glass of milk and 1/4 glass of mango pulp (ready available in stores) and sugar to taste to the blender and blend
- Done
Jaljeera
- There are 2 types - jaljeera(water) or jaljeer(buttermilk)
- Just add MTR jaljeera powder to water or to buttermilk
- done
Palak Rice
- Clean and grate 1 bunch of palak
- Boil palak in water
- chop some garlic and green chillies and ginger
- add this mixture to blender and grind
- normal oggarane (use 2 chopped onions)
- Add the ground paste to oggarane
- Add 1 chopped tomato
- Add little red chilli powder and lime juice
- Add salt
- Add coriander, cumin powder, coriander powder, jaljeera powder

uppittu/upma
- fry rava with little oil just till it starts to turn brown
- upma will be tasty if lots of vegetables are added
- so chop carrots,tomatoes,brinjal,beans,potatoes and cook them in microwave for about 22 min
- chop onions - 2 of them
- start with oggarane
- add 4x cups of water, if you have added x cups of rava
- add lemon juice, little red chilly powder, and salt to taste
- add kottambri soppu and coconut
- wait till the liquid starts to boil
- now add roasted rava and stir in parallel
- wait for few mins and done

Masoppu saaru
- soppus that can be added - palak,sapseege/sabakki,menthya,dantu,keere
- pressure cook soppus with little bele
- leave bele and take out only boiled soppu
- grind boiled soppu,onions,garlic,khara pudi,green chillies in the blender
- Rest of the process is similar to normal saaru making
- Add more garlic during oggarane.
Avarekalu saaru
- Avarekayi is available in frozen section under name - surti papdi lalva..something like that
- grind onions,khara pudi,garlic,cocunut,coriander powder,red chillies,zeera powder in the blender
- In the mean while pressure cook avarekayi with swalpa bele and salt
- Rest of the process is similar to normal sambhar preparation

Avalakki uppittu
- This is quite easy to make.
- Use lots of onions for oggarane.
- Soak avalakki in water for 5 mins.
- In the mean while chop onions and all other stuff requried for oggarane.
- Drain water from avalakki. when oggarane is done, add it to avalakki. avalakki needn't be boiled.
- Add lime juice to the mixture.
- Basically same as chitraanna
